Formal inquiry into Trump impeachment

Newsday

Available for over a year

US Democrats have opened a formal impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump over allegations he sought help from a foreign power to damage a political rival. Top Democrat Nancy Pelosi said the president "must be held accountable". MPs and peers will return to Parliament later after the Supreme Court ruled that its suspension was unlawful. Boris Johnson, who is flying back early from a UN summit in New York, faces calls to resign from opposition groups. And a story you don't hear every day: a footballer missing a foot who's represented his country. Kudakwashe Mapira - also known to his friends as 'Terminator' - was born with no left foot, but that hasn't stopped him from playing.
