The US special envoy for North Korea says Pyongyang has committed to dismantling and destroying all of its uranium and plutonium enrichment facilities, but it was dependent on corresponding measures from the United States. A US court has ruled that the Syrian Government was responsible for the death of American journalist Marie Colvin and French photographer Remi Ochlik during an airstrike on the Syrian city of Homs. The world’s largest ever trade deal, between Japan and the EU, has come into effect. It covers around a third of the world’s gross domestic product.
