Toshiba Sells Nuclear Unit Westinghouse

World Business Report

Available for over a year

The US-based company Westinghouse is one of the world's biggest suppliers of infrastructure services to the nuclear power industry. Brookfield Business Partners will pay $4.6 billion for the company. Also in the programme, the British countryside could be set for its biggest shake-up in decades. We get reaction from Minette Batters, deputy president of the National Farmers' Union, and environmental campaigner George Monbiot. Plus we take a trip to Utah in the United States to find out why its economy is so successful. And our regular economic commentator Roger Bootle of Capital Economics offers us his predictions for the European economy this year. (Picture: A Toshiba Factory. Picture credit: Getty Images.)
