Hundreds of Wirral residents have aired their concerns and displeasure at plans for a carbon capture pipeline. The £60m Peak Cluster project will capture carbon dioxide produced at cement and lime plants in the Peak District and transport it via a pipeline in Wirral to be stored under the sea.
