Available for over a year
New research is about to start to try to find alternative ways of preventing breast cancer in younger women thanks to the Stockport singer Sarah Harding. It's being funded by an appeal set up by The Christie Charity in Sarah's name following her death from the disease. At the moment there is only one drug available to prevent breast cancer in young women which isn't effective for everyone. BBC Radio Manchester's Michelle Adamson spoke to Dr Hannah Harrison from the University of Manchester who will be leading the new research. Photo credit: Getty
