Who were the Illyrians, the ancient people who once dominated the Western Balkans? In this episode, we explore their tribal society, warrior culture and complex relationships with their Greek and Roman neighbours - from trade and influence to conflict and piracy. For this, we're joined by Danijel Dzino, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History and Archaeology at Macquarie University, Sydney.
