Rob Franks, from Poole, has written a children’s book inspired by his son’s emotions and experiences during a difficult period in their lives. 'The Accident' tells the story of an eight-year-old boy who witnesses his father getting seriously injured during a cricket match and explores the feelings that follow. Rob has been chatting to the BBC's Gaby Roslin about his children's book. Rob won the Community Award in BBC Radio Solent's Make a Difference Awards in 2024.
