Weird in the Wade Returns

Weird in the Wade

Available for over a year

On Monday 27th October Weird in the Wade returns to BBC Sounds, with an exciting episode featuring a haunted house where unexplained activity is occurring now in 2025. Nat investigates what is haunting Andy's house. Andy, a Biggleswade Councillor, and does not believe in ghosts but he can't explain the strange things happening in his home. Taking a deep dive into the history of Andy's cottage and the land it is built on, Nat considers both environmental and supernatural explanations for the haunting. Are there ties to a 1990s poltergeist case a stone's throw away from Andy's house? This is only the first of many new episodes which will be released every fortnight. Lined up over the next few months are stories of poltergeists, haunted hills and secret bunkers, ghostly manor houses and seaside devils, phantom cyclists, and a shocking Victorian murder which links to one of Bedford's finest museums which has a reputation for spookiness, and much, much more.
