Great Neighbour Award Winner: Melody Willers

Melody Willers from Denmead won the Great Neighbour Award in BBC Radio Solent's Make a Difference Awards for 2025. Melody and her son, Sam, sew fabric "Happy Hens" and leave them around their local area for people to find to cheer them up. The Great Neighbour Award is for an individual who helps to make the neighbourhood a better place to live or work, either on a regular basis or through a single act of kindness.
