How can the Naze be saved?
Available for over a year
From the saltmarshes of Maldon to the oyster beds of Mersea Island, Essex has one of the longest coastlines in England, but with erosion having accerelated in recent years, a substantial part of the Naze in Walton could be lost to the sea inside a decade. The good news is that action is being taken and the Cliffline Project is looking at plans to slow and manage the erosion around East Anglia’s fragile coastline.
