How can the Naze be saved?
From the saltmarshes of Maldon to the oyster beds of Mersea Island, Essex has one of the longest coastlines in England, but with erosion having accerelated in recent years, a substantial part of the Naze in Walton could be lost to the sea inside a decade.
The good news is that action is being taken and the Cliffline Project is looking at plans to slow and manage the erosion around East Anglia’s fragile coastline.
