A debate: Women's safety and the 'Ask for Angela' scheme

Eddie Nestor chairs chairs a special roundtable debate from Café 1001 in Brick Lane about women's safety and the 'Ask for Angela' scheme. The discussion follows an undercover investigation by BBC London where they put the scheme to the test and exposed serious flaws. Even the Women’s Safety Minister, Jess Phillips, tried it and found the scheme in need of improvement. Eddie was joined by Jamie Klingler, co-founder of a campaign group called Reclaim These Streets; Mahalia Fontaine, a Londoner and music artist who had experienced harassment herself and was involved in a debate we did 3 years ago called ‘Safe in London?’; and Simone Martis, the Bar Manager at Café 1001.
