Star guests are filmmaker Bogdan Mureşanu, whose film ’The New Year That Never Came’ explores the immediate lead-up to the 1989 revolution, and Alina Serban, Romania’s first Roma woman playwright and director. We have live comedy from Gabriel Gherghe, who is also our ‘Culture Cab’ guide to artistic secrets of the city, and live music from star performer and coach on ‘The Voice of Romania’, Irina Rimes, and from folk revivalist Simion Bogdan Mihai, with his phenomenal band, The Silken Fiddles.
