Mobeen Hussain spoke to Rena Annobil about the search for a "hero" donor to save her child. Her daughter Amilah was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia in October 2024, after Mobeen noticed bruises on her daughter's legs. Amilah's bone marrow is unable to provide sufficient blood cells, meaning she needs a stem cell donor to potentially save her life. The South Asian community is underrepresented on the DKMS register, and Mobeen is hoping to encourage more people from the community to sign up.
