Latest News Picks

Available for over a year

Chappell Roan can't be stopped. Over the past 12 months, the 26-year-old has become one the most exciting stars in pop. A flamboyant, flame-haired sensation, whose songs are as colourful as they are raw. Next week, she's up for six Grammy awards, including best new artist. And BBC Radio 1 has named her as its 'Sound Of 2025'. In this episode of 5 Minutes On, the BBC's music correspondent Mark Savage has been hearing from Chappell Roan and discussing how her success has been all the sweeter, because her former record label refused to release many of the songs that exploded onto the charts last year.
