Follow the trial of Metropolitan firearms officer Martyn Blake, who has been charged with the murder of Chris Kaba. Chris died from a single gunshot after being stopped by police in Streatham, south London, on Tuesday 5 September 2022. Martyn Blake, who was previously known only as NX121, has pleaded not guilty to murder. In this first episode reporters Ross Ryan and Adina Campbell follow the trial's opening, with the prosecution arguing Martyn Blake's actions were "not reasonably justified or justifiable". And we hear of Martyn Blake's belief that "one or many" officers could be killed as the suspect attempted to escape at "any cost". Producer: Ross Ryan News Editor: Gemma Stevenson Executive Producer: Lorraine Maguire Commissioning Editor: Alistair Miskin
