Braintree's amazing 1066 coin find

A hoard of Anglo-Saxon coins believed to have been buried in a Braintree field in 1066 and then rediscovered by two metal detectorists, ended up being sold for £325,000. The collection, which were discovered in 2019, amounted to around 20 shillings at the time of their burial.
