Available for over a year
When South Thanet MP Craig Mackinlay fell ill with sepsis, it led to him being put in an induced coma for two weeks and his chances of survival were put at just 5%. Doctors had no choice but to amputate both his hands and feet to save his life. Now, eight months on, he's learned to walk and live a normal life using prosthetics -- and he's due to return to Parliament for the first time since he was taken to hospital in September. He's been speaking to the BBC's political correspondent, Helen Catt, for this episode of Five Minutes On. (Image credit: BBC News)
