Big cat owner "will continue" to pursue exotic animal sanctuary dream

Sarah Julian

Available for over a year

Reece Oliver says he "won't be stopped" in his attempt to build a safari-style animal sanctuary in Trowell - despite Broxtowe Borough Council rejecting the plans. He says Broxtowe Retreat - which would also feature a themed spa and restaurant - would bring "a lot of money and tourism" to the area. Mr Oliver currently keeps lions, pumas and tapirs at his farm in Strelley.
