Summaya Mughal

Available for over a year

A ground breaking film made in Leicester will tonight get its premiere in the city. 'Revisiting the Harms of Hate' is the sequel to the University of Leicester’s award-winning documentary on hate crime that was made ten years ago. In the new film Professor Neil Chakraborti reconnects with original film participants and other victims of hate crime to assess their experiences over the past decade. Professor Chakraborti, Director of the Centre for Hate Studies and Professor in Criminology at the University of Leicester, explains to Summaya Mughal why they made the first film, and compares that experience to the new film of the decade that followed.
