Asylum seekers to return to Portland barge today

39 asylum seekers are due to return to the Bibby Stockholm. They have been living in hotels since the discovery of Legionella bacteria in the vessel's water system in August. Meanwhile, the mayor of Portland, Carralyn Parkes, is to take Dorset Council to court over the use of the barge to house asylum seekers. Earlier this month she lost a High Court battle with the Home Office.
