Does Busted's Year 3000 really add up?

More or Less

Available for over a year

Busted have released a new version of one of their biggest hits with fellow pop titans Jonas Brothers, but curiously the lyrics still contain the same old reference to a "great-great-great-granddaughter" in the year 3000. Presenter Tim Harford calls in Rob Eastaway, author of Maths on the Back of an Envelope, to work out how many 'greats' would be needed for Busted to win over the mathematicians. Spoiler alert: It's more than three.
