Surgeons in Oxford have carried out the first-ever womb transplant in the UK. The recipient, a 34-year-old woman, received the womb from her 40-year-old sister. Six months on from the procedure, the recipient is having periods and is preparing to have her own embryos implanted, already created via IVF with her own eggs. 5 Live listeners gave their reaction to Chris Warburton.
