How mushroom compost can help stop wildfires in forests

Researchers in Boulder in Colorado in the United States say mushrooms can prevent fires taking hold in forests. Bacteria from the mushrooms, known as fungi can turn piles of wood - which could help flames spread - into soil, whch can't. Zach Hedstrom is a mushroom expert in Colorado.
