From Belfast to Ontario: Local musicians take the trip of a lifetime

At the tail end of 2021, Belfast was awarded the coveted City of Music status by UNESCO, celebrating the city’s rich musical heritage and recognising the importance of music to its future. And as part of that two local singer-songwriters have been selected to be part of a special UNESCO initiative. It's meant a trip to London for Niall McDowell and Ciara O’Neill - and that's not London UK - it's London, Ontario in Canada! Both artists will get to perform as part of the Home County Music and Art Festival.
