Roadworks at the Sadlers Farm junction are completed

Remedial works on an underpass near Benfleet that started in 2012 have recently been completed over a decade later. Work started at the Sadlers Farm roundabout in 2010. The large roundabout with five smaller roundabouts was remodelled with a new underpass constructed connecting the A13 and A130. Work on the underpass was finished in time for the London 2012 Olympic Games; but shortly afterwards lane restrictions were put in place while remedial work took place. These restrictions were removed at the end of May 2023.
