Strikes by health workers in England and Wales are set to intensify over the coming weeks. More NHS staff, at more trusts, are joining the dispute. The latest 24 hour strike by Ambulance workers came to an end on Tuesday morning. The armed forces have been drafted in to support East Midlands Ambulance Service during the latest round of industrial action. EMAS said they were expecting up to 20 military staff to be available to help. Sarah Quigley, an emergency medical technition from Leicester has been talking to Ady Dayman about why she thinks strike action is necessary.
