How to celebrate Fat Thursday

Ben Jackson on BBC Radio Leicester

Available for over a year

You've probably heard of Pancake Tuesday but what about Fat Thursday? It's a Christian tradition that's really big in Poland -and people eat as many fatty, sugary foods as possible before Lent begins. It happens every February on the last Thursday before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent, where many people, particularly Christians, give up something they love - like chocolate or sweets - until Easter Sunday. Kevin Ncube popped over to Złoty Kłos bakery on Barkby Road run by Zuzanna and her mum Agnieszka.
