Public hold Councillors to account over Catmose

Political Reporter Tim Parker reports on a feisty public meeting about the decision to end public access to Catmose Sports Centre. In January 2023 Rutland County Council announced its existing contract to manage the site was coming to an end in March - and after a year of looking, no company had come forward to operate it at no cost to the authority, so it was to close. At the meeting senior councillors tried to answer public questions and fears about the impact of the closure.
