'How on earth do they think this is going to be better when we talk about congestion'

Ady Dayman

Available for over a year

Work is getting underway to improve the Five-Ways Junction in Leicester which links Blackbird Road, Fosse Road North, Groby Road and Buckminster Road. More than £10 million is being invested by the City Council to make one of the most complicated and congested junctions in Leicester safer and simpler for everyone to use. But it's going to take a year to complete - and some residents are worried about the disruption that will cause. Ady spoke to Val Kindred who lives near the junction, and head of Highways at Leicester City Council Martin Fletcher.
