50 years of the ancient Ridgeway as an official National Trail

The ancient Ridgeways stretches 87 miles across a few counties, but the start (or end, depending on perspective) is at The Sanctuary, a site near Marlborough in Wiltshire. 2023 marks 50 years since it became an official National Trail. A walk in Wiltshire to The Sanctuary marked the start of a year of events to celebrate.
