"It's the brightest thing you'll probably ever see"

In January, Martyn Williams got an email from Derby artist Melita Berg. She specialises in creating lettering, calligraphy and branding; working with big names in fashion and music festivals. The email said that Melita was working with a fashion brand that's popular with skaters. She was going to turn an old van, destined for the scrap heap, into a skate park. It was all going to be painted in bright colours with ramps for tricks. Almost nine months later, the project's finally complete and Melita invited Martyn to the Albert Looms scrap yard in Spondon to see it.
