November 9th 1989 saw the beginning of a new chapter for Germany as the fall of the Berlin Wall would begin the process of reunification. The next morning, Radio 4’s Today programme would report from the streets to tell the human story. Graham Leach reports on the joy and exhilaration as families were reunited and a new future was beginning.
