How a Neanderthal cave was saved from the sea

CrowdScience

Available for over a year

Until recently, Neanderthals were not thought to use the sea for food. But it might simply be that most of the evidence has been washed away. Dr Mariana Nabais explains how they found rare signs of Neanderthals eating seafood, thanks to a geological structure that sealed one cave away from the tides.
