Available for over a year

For Ukraine the costs of war with Russia are immense: thousands killed, millions displaced, the country’s infrastructure shattered. But there is a cost, too, for Russia - and not only in terms of military losses. The world’s largest country is now a pariah, international sanctions promise economic pain and long-term isolation. The BBC's Russia editor, Steve Rosenberg, has spent much of the last thirty years living and working in Moscow. For this episode of 5 Minutes On, he's been taking the temperature on the streets of Moscow to get a sense of how Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine has changed Russia. Image Credit: EPA
