SeriesStacey Dooley: Fresh Starts

Molly: Recovering from anorexia and starting uni

Stacey Dooley
Contains some strong language.

Available for over a year

Being a 'fresher' at university is exciting for any new student, but for Molly, it's an exceptional and emotional achievement. Being diagnosed with anorexia aged 14, Molly thought she would never be well enough to leave home and live an independent life - but she is now on the road to recovery and loving spending time with her new student pals. Proving she is more than her illness, Molly talks to Stacey about her teenage years, the support she received from family and her dreams for the future. Trigger warning: This episode contains descriptions of anorexia and may not be suitable for all audiences. If you, or someone you know, is struggling with an eating disorder, you can find links to organisations who can provide help and support on the BBC Action Line website. ==================== Credits: Presenter: Stacey Dooley Producers: Blanca Muñoz, Francesca Bent Executive producer: Natasha Johansson Social videos: Maia Lowerson This has been a Little Dooley production for BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds.
