Twitch data breach: Top streamers' earnings revealed in leak

The Amazon-owned game-streaming platform Twitch has been the victim of a leak which has reportedly revealed confidential company information and streamers' earnings. Mikael Thalen of the Daily Dot explains the extent of the breach, details behind the leak and why this could prove so damaging to the platform's top earners. He says the top earners, one of whom is reported as earning as much as $9.5 million dollars between August 2019 and October 2021, could now risk being targeted by scammers and hackers.
