Bridgwater Carnival and Highbridge and Burnham-on-Sea Carnival are putting on a series of events. The annual Guy Fawkes Carnivals were cancelled because of the pandemic. Dave Stokes, the publicity director for Bridgwater Carnival, tells Claire Carter about Sedgemoor Masquerade Week. There will be walking costume parades, variety shows, fireworks, squibbing and a virtual carnival.
