Roses to Remember

On behalf of the Godiva Trust, Pru Poretta has unveiled four new additions to the Rose Gardens at the War Memorial Park in Coventry. It was whilst exercising in the park during lockdown that Pru, well known as Coventry's Lady Godiva, was inspired to contact Coventry City Council to ask about empty rose beds. Working with Head Gardener Craig Mundy, rose varieties Nostalgia and Silver Anniversary have been carefully selected in memory of those who lost their lives to the pandemic.
