Public Health officials say an Indian strain of the coronavirus found in the UK could become a “variant of concern”. It’s thought about 500 cases have been found so far and it seems to have been spreading more quickly than the other strains – although there’s no evidence it’s resistant to vaccines. BBC Radio Leicester's Jimmy Carpenter spoke to Professor Ivan Browne, the Director of Public Health in Leicester, to find out what the latest situation is in the city.
