For the second week running son Andrew has a positive time with his Mum. Her dementia is now quite advanced: she sleeps for much of the time, can no longer cope with food that needs chewing and can't hold a conversation. But she still enjoys a ride out in the car. And this week, for the first time since last summer, Andrew takes Mum out for the afternoon - for a ride in the wheelchair in the spring sun.
