My Covid Year: Chetnole flower show organiser - Angela Orton

Steve Harris

Available for over a year

This week we've been hearing what lockdown has been like for people living in Chetnole, the Dorset village where the first ever vaccination was administered. It was performed by local farmer Benjamin Jesty, on his family, in 1774. Angela Orton helps to organise the village's annual flower show and fete, among other things. And despite all the restrictions, she was determined not to have to cancel what many see as the highlight of the local calendar.
