He was there in the dark when I went to bed And there in the morning when I raised my head. What does he do when I go to sleep ? When I dream of giant dragons, fairies and sheep. When I float in the sky to a magic land Where the moon can speak and hold my hand. Mr Moon's a kind friend who is always there So busy looking after each joy and care. Even though invisible he is on his way So that Sister Night can soothe big Brother Day.
