Lewis Hamilton launches plan to promote engineering amongst BAME communities

Formula 1 Motor Racing Champion Lewis Hamilton is to launch The Hamilton Commission, a research initiative to explore how motorsport can be used to engage more Black people into science based subjects. A 2018 report by Engineering UK found only 8.1% of men and women working in engineering were from Black and Asian minority ethnic groups. Dr Barnali Ghosh is a chartered civil engineer at the global engineering firm Mott MacDonald
