Child cancer treatment suffers after Beirut blast

Newsday

Available for over a year

The explosion at the port in Beirut was more than two weeks ago but its impact is no less urgent for the survivors, especially the young. The Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon depends on donations to treat its patients from around the region for free and was already having problems because of the difficult economic situation the country is in. But things have worsened since the blast. Ali Jaafar, from the Children’s Cancer Center, told BBC Newsday more from Beirut.
