Music and Silence

Experience Classical

Available for over a year

'Music And Silence' was Anne Dudley's initial commission as the BBC Concert Orchestra's first 'Composer in Association'. It's based on Rose Tremain's bestselling book about life at the Danish Royal Court in the 17th Century. The music feels like a soundtrack to an epic film, not surprising when you consider Anne Dudley has scored many successful films and won an Oscar for her work in 1998. Composer: Anne Dudley Performer: BBC Concert Orchestra Conductor: Barry Wordsworth Recording date: 18 September 2002 Date of broadcast: 14 October 2002
