Johnnie Jackson's Covid Chronicles

BBC Radio London Sport

Available for over a year

Charlton assistant manager Johnnie Jackson has been keeping himself busy in lockdown by picking up his guitar and writing some lyrics to fit the current situation, much to the delight of fans who saw his first effort 'That’s Isolation' surface on Instagram last week. He's since raised over £5,000 for Children with Cancer UK and has gone on to perform further hits including the Oasis inspired “Just Want to Play” and ‘The COVID-19 Blues’ - an adaptation of Johnny Cash's 1955 hit 'Folsom Prison Blues'. This clip is originally from BBC Radio London on Saturday 2nd May 2020.
