Can planting trees reduce flooding?

PM has had lots of correspondence in relation to the 2020 Year of The Tree. Researchers at Bangor University wrote to say that they've been teaching forestry for more than one hundred years. This week a group of Bangor students have been in the Scottish Borders looking at different tree-related projects, including one where trees have been planted to reduce flooding. With parts of Britain inundated with water, reporter Richard Baynes went along to see what difference trees can make.
