Planting the PM Tree

PM

Available for over a year

The government has a target of planting an area of 30,000 hectares of new trees per year - that is roughly about 50 million or so. To help the cause, Evan Davis went to Kew Gardens in south west London to plant 'The PM Tree'. He met up with the head of the aboretum there, Tony Kirkham, who explained where the tree came from.
