Sarah and Georgie are mother and daughter. Georgie was diagnosed with ADHD aged 5 and after moving primary schools has flourished despite the difficulties that come with her condition. She can be challenging and can find the world challenging, but Sarah and her husband are extremely proud of her and mindful of the advice from a specialist who met Georgie, who said they just need to get Georgie through the school system with her confidence intact and then she will fly. They had their conversation just before Georgie started secondary school, to discuss her diagnosis, the highs and lows of school and friendship and bullying.
